Uniform
All children are expected to wear the full school uniform.
All items of School Uniform and P.E. Kit should be clearly labelled.
Our school uniform consists of:
- A dark grey or black skirt / grey or black trousers
- School sweatshirt / school cardigan
- Plain white polo shirt / shirt
- Plain black or white socks
- Dark shoes that are suitable for the school day
- In summer dark grey or black shorts and purple and white, or yellow and white checked summer dresses can also be worn
- School ties can be worn but they are not compulsory
- Long hair should be tied back with a simple hair bobble
- No nail varnish or make-up should be worn
- Simple stud ear-rings may be worn
- Children should not wear hair bands that have any extra attachment
- Children should not wear hoodies even if they have the school logo on them
Our P.E. kit consists of
- Plain black shorts*
- Plain black tracksuit*
- Purple t-shirt* (shorts and t-shirt only for reception pupils)
- Plimsolls or trainers for outdoor PE- please note that indoor PE is done in bare feet (not needed for Reception)

- Earrings must not be worn for any P.E. lesson and cannot be taped over. Children need to be able to remove/replace their own ear-rings

High quality second hand uniform can be purchase at 'It Takes a Village' which is located at 15 High Street, Earls Colne, Colchester, CO6 2PA. It is open from 9:30am - 2:30pm every weekday and 10:00am-3:00pm on Saturdays.
