This year, we have welcomed lots of new children into our two reception classes Monkeys and Elephants. Many children attended our Nursery and they are all settling into the day to day life at school well.
Earls Colne's youngest children are having lots of fun learning new things and working together!
Things to do at home on this Snow Day.
Playing in the snowy weather gives lots of opportunities for all areas of development. Encourage children to talk about their play in ever longer sentences and more specific vocab. Ask questions that enable your child to think about how, why and what if?
A picture or writing about a photo is a super way of letting them review their experiences. Reading resources and the number time bits sent at half term will allow your child to be teacher for the day. Remember Tapestry and the weekly log book letters give ideas for ICT activities. Espresso and Purple Mash are always current to news events, even for our younger learners.
Try to enjoy and keep safe and warm!
The EYFS Team
Mrs Rashid came into scholl and helped us with our poppy making. We talked about why we have poppies and I can talk about my ideas. Here are some pictures of us busy with our learning.
